- Decent Server Speed and Reliable
- Packed Full of Features
- Automatic Daily Backups
- Doesn’t Really Offer Anything Different or Competitive Compared to that of more Established Hosting Providers
- Doesn’t Honour Affiliate Program Signup Incentives being Advertised
- Priced Slightly Higher than other major Web Hosting Providers in the industry
- Lack of Support Response
Recommendations: We use Hostgator for as our web hosting provider which is much more established and offer all the same features with a affiliate program you can trust and can honestly promote.
JVZooHost.com is a fairly new web hosting platform launched by the creators of the popular online affiliate marketing platform, JVZoo. While currently satisfied with our hosting provider, Hostgator for our website. We decided to try out JVZooHost for a new site we were building in order to test how it would perform.
JVZooHost contained an easy to navigate interface one would expect and had our test website installed in a little time. Once we pointed our domain to the JVZooHost servers we noticed Server response times for a shared server were decent. JVZooHost boasts that they run their servers using Dell's PowerEdge hardware. In testing the server hadn’t crashed but the site was thankfully backed up on a daily basis due to their backend features. Restoring from a backup also proved successful which confirms to be incredibly “powerful and reliable”.
Initially, we started with a basic theme installed with a couple pages and minimal content and gradually increased the processes which performed adequacy with few delays. Downloading a caching plugin such to the WordPress site such as W3 Total Cache helped maximize site performance and speed. Regardless of hosting provider, if you use WordPress this would be highly recommended.
cPanel has become something of a standard control panel for a shared host, however cPanel with JVZooHost came with an abundance of bundled extra features and content. Many of the Extra content included marketing tools for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Google rankings, and advertising.
Furthermore, there were additional options for optimizing website speed for free through services such as CloudFlare. JVZooHost also included a One-Click Installer for standard setup of CMS platforms including WordPress.
We chosen the most basic plan for testing purposes, however JVZooHost makes it very easy for us to instantly upgrade plans with appropriate settings by simply submitting payment order information.
Support for JVZooHost offered various methods for a hosting provider including: live chat, support tickets, and even phone. We found response lacking. In fact, regarding $20 being deposited via PayPal simply for signing up as an affiliate has yet to be responded to.
Delivering as advertised or promised is something we take seriously when reviewing and why we can’t in good conscience recommend this product/service.
JVZooHost pricing? We’ve seen better. For their basic plan, $8 USD per month is slightly higher than major competitors that offer the same or similar features and are already well established in the web hosting industry. It kind of begs the question why would we switch?
JVZooHost seems to be attempting to carve out a niche in an already competitive and saturated marketplace. Unfortunately, JVZooHost doesn’t really bring to the table anything that noticeably differentness them from well established providers in the web hosting industry. Sure, some may argue that having a large following of affiliate marketers gives an advantage but not paying those that promote on your behalf as promised won’t keep this project afloat. Even successful web hosting resellers know the importance of finding a niche in order to survive instead of taking on the 400-pound gorillas that JVZooHost is attempting to do.
Before we share with you what our bonuses are for JVZooHosting, we want to be upfront and honest with you. Unlike other affiliates that continuously promote the next “shiny” over hyped thing, we only recommend products and services that we have ACTUALLY used ourselves.
We feel that we are in a unique position to accurately review products and services due to our first hand knowledge in application programming and software development that is otherwise outsourced by Internet Marketers. If we feel something reviewed by us lacks in value or is of poor quality than we are not afraid to share our opinion with our readers.
We are aware there are tons of other affiliates out there that “promise” tons of bonuses for JVZooHosting. And they might be packaged into a “BIG Bundle” but the truth is they are just “PLR or Private Label Rights” products.
While we believe that you shouldn’t simply purchase a product or service just for the bonuses along, we offer bonuses that truly compliment and enhance the products and services being reviewed.
Therefore, we’re not offering any bonuses for this product and/or service. Unlike most people we don’t promote everything we review. We do real reviews, even if that occasionally means advising people something is not worth buying or deemed of poor value in our opinion. If you really must have Bonuses then you are probably just a FREEBIE seeker and not into the real product in the first place. Our advice to would be to stop cashing “shiny objects” like a cat and start making money like a successful marketer or business owner. Use the products/services as tools to be more productive not as a source of magically getting rich quickly.
UPDATE: On July 10, 2015 we finally received a response to our inquiry regarding the advertised $20 funds via PayPal. Although that is standard practice with the majority of affiliates we continue to stand firm with our initial rejection of this product/service due to the fact that it still is slightly more expensive than more established competitors and seems to bring nothing new to the table.
The funds were deposited directly into your JVZooHost Affiliate account, which once you get to $100 in commissions you are able to withdraw the funds. The reason for this is that without the threshold for the payout, each transaction is subject to fees from PayPal and having this setup in larger sums means that more of the money will go to you.
