Today I’m reviewing a new software set to launch called, “SyncMSG” by Brad Stephens that claims to sync 3 types of leads with one-click and without requiring the prospective lead to enter an email address. It goes live on February 8th, 2018 at 11:00 AM EST and before you waste your money, I’m going to tell you the truth that most marketers don’t have the guts!
Now this isn’t something new or very innovative at all. Ever since Facebook opened it’s Messenger platform API back in 2016 to developers there have been tons of chatbots brought to market. In fact, Brad Stephens is also the vendor of FeelSocial which is another Facebook messenger software that utilizes the API function to broadcast messages via FB messenger. I’ve personally purchased FeelSocial including some of the OTOs (One-Time-Offers) upon it’s short launch. Unfortunately, as with many softwares of it’s kind the software gets abused of which inevitably leads to features that suddenly stop working due to becoming blocked in order to prevent spam or changes are made to the API which break the function of certain features over time often with support of nowhere to be had.
Speaking of support, I’ve made several attempts to reach out to Brad Stephens however, the vendor has yet to respond. This doesn’t give me much confidence that SyncMSG will be anything more than repurposed code and a bit of repackaging from previous launches in order to make a quick profit.
The truth is many users unknowingly end up subscribed to these push notifications without really realizing they’ve given consent and find them rather annoying.
Building trust with subscribers shouldn’t lead them to feel as if they’ve been tricked into being on your list nor should the subscriber be uncertain of how they got on your list.
SyncMSG Software Features and Benefits
=> Get 3 powerful ways to connect with ANY lead (including verified email, FB messenger & FB notification)
=> Works out-of-the-box with your favorite autoresponder & messenger software
=> Use it on FB OR on your own sites (huge)
=> Each new lead is AUTOMATICALLY added to your email list, messenger list AND FB notification list
=> You get verified FB email addresses (say goodbye to bounces)
=> Prospects only need to click ONE button … they don’t even need to enter their email, so adding new leads is now ridiculously easy!
SyncMSG Software User Interface
The interface is inherently broken due to relying on a platform and API that is ever changing and at least one source of leads having being FB email addresses having been retired way back in 2014. These leads are not quality leads because while @facebook.com addresses can be forwarded to their primary email address on file, Facebook users can disable the forwarding feature and is turned off by default.
In order to unlock the full potential of the software will require upgrading to the pro version and with Facebook cracking down on marketing and self promotion outside of paid FB ads will this be a worthwhile investment down the road? It might sound impressive in theory but SyncMSG sucks.
The front-end starts at $27 USD but will require the Pro version which is an additional $67 USD to take advantage of all the features of the software. If you would like Agency licensing to the software than that will cost another $67 USD and if you want to peddle this crapware as your own than expect to pony up $197-$297 (because yeah know… pricing psychology). SyncMSG isn’t worth it and there are much more affordable alternatives.
Review Summary of SyncMSG
I don’t relish the idea of publishing a negative product review but unlike other marketers, I’m not motivated by commission. I won’t promote any shiny object that comes my way or cowardly remain silent out of fear of being black balled by vendors. I believe that as a credible reviewer it is my responsibility to be as in-depth, honest, and transparent as possible in order for YOU my loyal readers to be able to make an informed and educated buying decision.
I’m not perfect, I make mistakes like the best of them and if I do so than I encourage you to constructively point it out to me and I will look into retracting an incorrect statement. I think this is a far more beneficial method than the other options.
I recommend everyone don’t buy SyncMSG by Brad Stephens and stay away from similar spammy chat bot software such as SyncMSG as it will put your Facebook account at risk. SyncMSG by Brad Stephens does not get my approval.
What I would suggest is ManyChat for growing a list of FB messenger leads. I also use Pushcrew on my site or push notifications both of which offer free plans and affordable paid plans if you feel the need for more. I’ve done fine on the free plans so far.
